This traditional Oak Island beach bungalow is designed for families and groups who want to truly relax. The open kitchen and dining area make it easy to cook and gather together, while the spacious living room is perfect for winding down after a day at the beach.

Step outside to enjoy both front and back decks, including a screened-in porch that offers shade and relief from bugs — ideal for morning coffee or evening conversations.

Whether you’re here for beach days, bike rides, or simply time together, Lekker by the Sea is a comfortable, welcoming home base for your coastal getaway.

Something *very* important to note: the house is currently under renovation, which is why the photos are limited. We began in October 2025 and will be fully renovating both bathrooms, replacing floors, all new interior paint on walls and ceilings, new doors, new outdoor shower, new furnishings and, most importantly, a brand new heated 12' x 26' pool to be finished in March 2026. The property is priced accordingly, knowing it might feel a little risky to book something that will look dramatically different by the time you arrive.
